Kimberly Perkins
Kimberly Perkins is a Captain on a Gulfstream 650 with extensive international experience. Along with piloting, she is a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington researching the impact of cognitive bias on aviation safety. Her interdisciplinary doctoral research addresses the safety implications of biases on three levels: flight deck crew dynamics, organizational safety culture, and industry workforce development. Through her published works and public speaking, she is an outspoken leader on safety culture initiatives within the aviation industry.
