Conducted in partnership with FlightSafety International, this course is designed to help develop business aviation leaders of all roles – both current and future leaders. This program is a great opportunity to examine and sharpen leadership skills alongside other aviation professionals through scenarios, activities, and discussions focused on the business aviation environment.

To be successful organizations need effective and productive teams with engaged and motivated team members who have shared goals, open communication and respect for each other. This interactive 2-day course is designed to make participants think differently about teams and how they function, especially in the business aviation environment.

Identify principles of resource management techniques (CRM, DRM, MRM). Recognize key factors including personalities, perceptions and behaviors which can impact these techniques and increase operational risk. Gain tools to overcome barriers and improve communication, motivation and engagement in your team and promote and maintain a culture of safety in the organization through specific individual actions.

Recognize and employ Human Factors (HF) policies and procedures to support effective human performance in the workplace. Identify performance and communication issues related to diversity in the workplace (e.g., multi-generational, cultural, language, interpersonal). Recognize signs and causes of degraded human performance and identify mitigation strategies and countermeasures to elevate performance, safety and service.

This course enables current and future leaders to gain valuable leadership skills and tools to foster team engagement, improve communication, encourage collaboration, motivate your team, and build an overall culture of safety and service. This course is highly interactive and allows participants to examine and sharpen their leadership skills and build confidence alongside other aviation professionals through scenarios, activities, and discussions focused on the business aviation environment.
